For the time you are not playing golf there is plenty other things to do. Within 5kms there are the Blue Flag beaches of La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Rio Mar. All 3 are safe, sandy, clean and have sparkling blue water, with a variety of water sports on offer.
Torrevieja is the closest large town, approx. 8kms away, where you will find a marina, open air markets, numerous shops, restaurants and bars. There is a huge street market every Friday, and daily there is an indoor fish, fruit and meat market. Also available there are tennis courts, a circus and two aqua parks.
